The Zonta Club of Washington, D.C. is one of the more than 1,200 member clubs of Zonta International (ZI), a leading global organization of professionals empowering women worldwide through service and advocacy. There are some 30,000 individuals, called Zontians, who are members of Zonta clubs in 66 countries around the world.
Our Vision? A world in which women's rights are recognized as human rights and every woman is able to achieve their full potential--where every woman is literate; has access to education, health care, legal and economic resources on an equal basis with men; and no woman lives in fear of violence.
