Down's Syndrome (DS) Awareness Month presentation by member Kaitlin Jones

Kaitlin will present new information she has learned about DS and related challenges. As a follow-up to our March 2026 meeting when we celebrated World Down Syndrome Day and discussed the beauty that can be found in difference, Kaitlin will share an update. This meeting will focus on Down Syndrome internationally and advocacy. In some under-resourced parts of the world, individuals with disabilities are stigmatized, abandoned, or denied access to life-saving surgery. Feel free to bring questions for Kaitlin.

Bio
Kaitlin holds a BA from Villanova University and an MBA from the University of Oxford. She brings 10+ years of experience in consulting, strategy, and marketing and has worked with beloved consumer brands like Arm & Hammer, Orajel Kids, and Freshpet. She is a former Zonta International Jane M. Klausman Women in Business Scholarship recipient.

A proud mother to Oliver and Lily, who has Down syndrome, Kaitlin is passionate about supporting moms and families, and believes deeply that everyone needs a village. Kaitlin joined Hearts of Joy International in 2026, where she leads donor engagement and fundraising. Her greatest wish is for her children to live lives filled with joy, and she is honored to be part of a team working to give that same opportunity to children with Down syndrome and their families around the world.
