The Zonta Club of Washington, D.C. is one of nearly 1,100 member clubs of Zonta International (ZI), a leading global organization of individuals working together to build a better world for women and girls. There are over 26,000 individuals, called Zontians, who are members of Zonta clubs in 63 countries around the world. Zonta is changing the World for Women and Girls, by building a better place in our world today.
Our Vision? A world in which women's rights are recognized as human rights and every woman is able to achieve her full potential--where every woman is literate; has access to education, health care, legal and economic resources on an equal basis with men; and no woman lives in fear of violence.
