Every January, Zonta clubs throughout the world celebrate Amelia Earhart. Our guest is Dr. Amanda Rudolph, a Postdoctoral Research Geologist in the Center for Earth and Planetary Studies at the National Air and Space Museum. She is a past Zonta Amelia Earhart Fellowship.
The Zonta Club of Washington, D.C. is one of nearly 1,100 member clubs of Zonta International (ZI), a leading global organization of individuals working together to build a better world for women and girls. There are over 26,000 individuals, called Zontians, who are members of Zonta clubs in 64 countries around the world. Zonta is changing the World for Women and Girls, by building a better place in our world today.
Our Vision? A world in which women's rights are recognized as human rights and every woman is able to achieve her full potential--where every woman is literate; has access to education, health care, legal and economic resources on an equal basis with men; and no woman lives in fear of violence.
