April 2025 In-Person Event

April 12, 2025, 12:00 PM - 3:00 PM

National Museum of the American Indian (NMAI) & US Botanic Garden Visit

• Please meet at NMAI's main entrance at Third Street and Maryland Avenue, SW by 12:00 pm ET. This entrance faces the US Capitol Building.
• 12:00-1:00 pm: We will visit the Sublime Light: Tapestry Art of DY Begay exhibit.
• 1:00 - 1:45 pm/2:00 pm: We will have lunch/snacks at Mitsitam Native Foods Café
• 2:00-3:00 pm: If folks are feeling up to it, we will walk over to the US Botanic Gardens to check out the annual orchids exhibit.
