Dress a Girl Around the World

DC Zontians and friends met at G Street Fabrics in Rockville, Maryland to sew dresses for this special project. The event was sponsored by the Service Committee and the Fellowship Committee.
Minimal sewing skills were needed as some individuals pinned material and others ironed patches for pockets. Sewing machines were provided by G Street Fabrics. At the July dinner meeting, members brought old pillowcases and remnants of cotton material for the project.
